Pargo was flashed May 21 in his rented Hyundai Sonata at speeds of 102 mph, 105 mph, 127 mph and 147 mph between Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard. As part of the deal, prosecutors tossed out the 105 and 127 mph speeds, allowing Pargo to plead guilty to 102 mph. Don't they know that to get to 147mph, you have to go through 0-146mph. Why would they toss out 105mph and 127mph, or even bring them up, you don't just magically go 147? So they wanted to charge him a new violation for every mph he went over on his way to 147? Sounds dumb, or maybe I'm missing something...
